What happens when I request a quote?

First, I’d like to call out the fact that we do NOT sell your information. This is NOT a platform for obtaining your information to sell it to someone else. Information you enter is used only by us to assist you.

  • Your information is NOT resold or re-distributed!

  • We are only asking for your information so we can assist you!

  • You will hear from one of our team members (Amy or Alex - and occasionally Katie may help), not 50 different people.

When you request a life insurance quote online HERE, you're initiating a personalized process to explore coverage options tailored to your needs.

Here's what you can expect:

📝 Step 1: Submit Your Information

You'll fill out a secure form providing:

  • Personal Details: Name, email, phone number, and state of residence.

  • Age: To assess eligibility and premium rates.

  • Nicotine Use: Indicates potential health risk factors and assists with the premium rate quote.

  • Coverage Type: Options include final expense, whole life, term life, or indexed universal life (IUL). If you’re not sure - that’s OK! Part of what we do, is help you understand insurance and what policies will fit your needs, budget, and those which you’ll likely qualify for.

  • Coverage Amount: Your desired policy value if you have an amount in mind.

  • Health History: Brief details about any medical conditions like high blood pressure, diabetes, or heart issues.

Note: If you're in New York, only accidental and critical illness plans (e.g., cancer, heart attack/stroke) are available.

📞 Step 2: Personalized Follow-Up

After submission, a licensed agent will reach out via phone, text, or email to:

  • Review Your Needs: Discuss your health, lifestyle, and financial goals.

  • Discuss Your Budget: We’ll work with you to help find a policy that fits your needs within your monthly budget. Life insurance is no good if you can’t afford to keep it.

  • Complete Field Underwriting: We review your needs/budget/health and complete a field underwriting. This means we’ll be checking for the policies that fit your needs, that you’re most likely to qualify for. There’s no sense applying for a policy that you will be declined for.

  • Provide Recommendations: Suggest suitable policy types and coverage amounts with the expected monthly premiums.

  • Answer Questions: Clarify any uncertainties about life insurance options.

🏥 Step 3a: Underwriting Process & Application

NO EXAM NEEDED: 99.9% of the policies we assist with require NO EXAM. That’s right! We specialize in policies that don’t require you to see a nurse, needle, or pee in a cup.

We will assist you, right over the phone (or on a video call if you prefer), with the application process.

  • Provide your personally identifiable information so the insurance company can review your online medical and prescription records.

  • Agree to allow the insurance company to review that information.

  • Answer detailed health questions to assist the insurance company in making a final decision.

  • Provide information regarding your beneficiary.

📄 Step 3b: Policy Offer and Acceptance

The insurance company will review your health information and the answers you provide to the additional questions.

Usually, we will have an answer within minutes! Sometimes, this may take a few days. Rarely, it may take a week or longer. This is all dependent on the insurance company and the type of policy applied for.

  • Receive an Offer: The insurance company will decide, and you’ll be presented with a coverage amount and a monthly premium.

  • Review and Accept: If satisfied, you'll sign the application and make the initial premium payment to activate coverage.

PAYMENT INFORMATION:

An insurance policy is a contract and legally cannot be active until the first premium payment is made. You will NOT have coverage unless the first premium payment is made. Insurance companies typically want you to set up a recurring monthly payment method (Ie: Bank draft, credit card payment - different companies have different acceptable payment methods and bank draft is typically the method of choice).

Once the first payment is made, you will receive the official policy documents for your review. Typically, you have 30 days to review the policy documents - this is called the “Free Look Period”. Should you determine the policy is not right for you, you can cancel with the insurance company and receive your first premium payment back. If you cancel after the “Free Look Period” is over, then you will not receive any reimbursement of any premiums paid.
